The mixtape is slated for release in Fall 2008 with tracks that will feature collaborations from other artists in the NY Area. The group "Da Ministry" is definitely one of the most authentic and unique groups to date and undoubtedly made themselves a force to be reckoned within the music industry. When asked what they seek to accomplish, they responded, "We just hope to make a lasting impact in music and bring a new, different sound instead of the old, generic music people become accustomed to. There's not a lot of West Indians in the rap game right now and West Indians been put in the category of only doing certain types of music. When people listen to our music, they're going to see that we don't like being type-casted with the songs we do. We've done everything from reggaeton tracks to reggae tracks and everything in between. We rep for everybody whether you Jamaican, Haitian, Trini, Guyanese, Bajan, Puerto Rican, Dominican, whatever. We want to just let people know that West Indians in here and we here to stay.
