This year has been pretty hectic at school… I have pretty high goals in terms of colleges so Ive spent most of my time studying this year.. Ive kept up with singing with chorus and our acapella group and have a new alliance with a friend, Kelvin Harrison. Kelvin and I performed at an arts week show at school and we plan on putting together a show here in New Orleans – we’ve already been asked to play for a major fund raiser here in New Orleans.

My sister Lauren Barrett has our video posted on her blog – we are singing one of her originals, Murky Water – I promise we will get a better recording out soon..

So I uploaded another cover song I did with The Prescriptions – a hit song for Katrina and the Waves in the 80’s – you guessed it “Walkin on Sunshine” it’s fun…it’s happy… what could be better than walkin on sunshine - that’s a pic of me and my sis (lauren barrett) at her recent wedding -YEA!!!!

Yea, today is B-day for me – I turn the bit 1—-7…..my mom seems sad, like 17 is some type of turning point – Im actually only one day older than yesterday…just signed a contract with VANS – yea!! – Ill be doing their catalogues etc… now if I could just do the music… big thanks to everyone out there on Ourstage… what amazing music on this site!!!

So Im back this month with a homemade video of a 2 song medley – I Won’t and Ticket to Ride- just me and my guitar – it was up on the blog now its in the live performance video category. I have also started a fund raising drive at my school for the absolutely starving people in Haiti – their meager existences were slammed by 4 storms this summer – now covering in mud what little they had. I am organizing several fund raisers including music performances and a fashion show….will keep everyone informed on the progress..
