Girl meets Girl. Girl becomes Boy. Girl and Boy become a band. Meet COYOTE GRACE. This sultry roots duo is comprised of guitarist Joe Stevens, a transman from Northern California, and Ingrid Elizabeth on upright bass, a sassy femme originally hailing from the hills of Southeastern Ohio. Coyote Grace’s playful chemistry distills passionate harmonies & revealing lyrics into a soulful vintage sound. Although they spend most of their time on the road, these road dogs now reside in Bay Area (Sonoma County, CA). Most recently, Coyote Grace has been hitting the road with Indigo Girls, Girlyman, and Melissa Ferrick, and will continue to do shows with Indigo Girls through Summer 2010. were featured as Emerging Artists at the 2009 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. They can also be found wooing the crowds at colleges, festivals, conferences, coffeehouses, pubs, house concerts, farmers markets, and community centers alike. Recently released is their sophomore studio album, “Ear to the Ground” (2009), the long-awaited follow up to their award-winning debut album “Boxes & Bags” (2006).
