By the age of eleven rapping was not only something he did for fun, it became his passion. Kanes smooth flow mixed with his feisty yet fun demeanor is unique in style. One of his earlier recordings entitled “Wiser than my years” pretty much sums up Conscious Kane as an artist. Spectators are often surprised to learn that he is only fifteen years old.Kane hones his skills by performing whenever and wherever possible.
Some of his recent performances include Hampton Teen Center's Live Concert Series 2010, African American Cultural Festical in Norfolk, Kecoughtan's City Wide Talent Search, Dance Explosion 09, YFAMD's Dance Showcase, Westhampton Community Center Music Nights, the grand opening of The Ella Fitzgerald Cultural Arts Theatre in Newport News, and Mill Point Park’s summer scholarship benefit concert . Conscious Kane has not only created a local buzz, but has developed a rather large fan base. For the Rest of 2010 and 2011 the primary goal for Conscious Kane is to complete works for his debut CD. While in pursuit of a major record deal, Conscious Kane will continue to expand his audiences by taking his show on the road regionally. It wont be long until the world becomes conscious of this charismatic, young superstar emerging on the hip hop scene.
