Comminor is a colorful skatepunk/poppunk band from Västerås, Sweden. The music is mostly upbeat with rhythms and melodies which makes you wanna dance, mixed with some more serious songs who lead to reflections. The atmosphere in the band is humoristic and joyful, much due to the amazing friendship, and not one rehearsal goes by without practical jokes or the exchange of extremely bad jokes and stories. The vision is to spread music, joy and the energy existing on stage, in the studio and at the rehearsals! On stage there’s always a huge inflatable penis, which is highly appreciated by the fans. That, accompanied by the chorus line “Your dick smells like honey, you sell your body for money” and a 15-year old boy dancing in a mankini tells you all you need to know about Comminor as a band. They want to provoke people and often take their jokes way too far. There are so many rules, unwritten laws and opinions of how to be in the world, and that’s why Comminor just wants to show all those uptight people with a stick up their asses that it’s ok to sing about a male whore!
