Whats up everyone I go by the name Cognition for those who don’t know what it means its basically the process of understanding through thought. So if people listen closely to my music they’ll have a better cognition of who I am or a topic I’m talking about. Anyway I’m 18 years old and I’ve been writing since i was 13 and recording since i was 15 or 16. I take my music pretty serious and I’m hoping I can go somewhere with it, but for now its just a passion, I love it, and I’ll never stop doing it. I was born in Long Island, New York and raise in Huntington in Alexandria, VA. Right now i live in McLean and I can’t wait till I leave this damm place. I’m not really a big fan of radio hip hop, but once and a while theirs a few jams I can bump to. When i listen to a rapper I usually pay attention to his flow and his lyrics. So as a rapper myself i try to have the best flow possible and nice lyrics that don’t sound redundant or boring.
