About clair reilly-roe

Portrait of clair reilly-roe

Canadian singer songwriter Clair Reilly-Roe delivers songs more personal, gutsy, and inspired than ever. The melodies are sweet and singable and the lyrics are pages falling out of a tattered, well-traveled diary. These story-songs are about changing and letting go, about beginnings, endings, but above all else, the triumph of love. As the child of real-deal hippies, folk music formed the foundation of Reilly-Roe’s inspiration and upbringing from Carol King, Bob Dylan, to Joni Mitchell. Surprisingly, it was a career as a professional snowboarder that ultimately led her to a commitment to music. A knee injury forced Reilly-Roe off the mountain and she ended up in New York, where she traded her Burton for a Takamine for good. Currently recording with Grammy-award winner Tony Black (Alicia Keys) her songs will pull you from the inside out and never let go.
