Welcome! Circle 13 is Brent Brehony and Crista Carroll. We met 19 years ago and married in 1994. Music has always been a driving force in our life together and we have each played many roles in the journey thus far, arriving at the debut of the "Come Feel This" CD. We are very proud of these songs and excited to share them with everyone! We started this music late fall of 2004. Brent started writing some songs for a solo project and asked Crista to sing a couple of hooks. Creative Spirit took over and it became the both of us working and contributing equally. This album was written as a collection and we hope when you listen you will regard each song as a chapter in our story.

"Come Feel This" has kept us very busy promoting. C13 has been hitting the stage up and down the California coast. Getting positive press right away, the CD has been reviewed by esteemed entertainment writer Adam Bernard (adamsblogspot.com). We've also had a full page article in the Santa Barbara News Press "Scene" and we were the featured act in the Santa Barbara Independent's "Locals Only". Three songs from the CD are featured in the Indy Movie "The 13th Alley". And thanks to DJ's Phat J & Spencer, we've had radio airplay & a live in-studio performance on "KJEE 93.3 FM". We also filmed TV spots for "The Indie Music Show" and "Musical Cafe". Both shows can be viewed on our Myspace page as well as our official website. Most recently we released our first music video for our song "Hip Politics". We are especially proud of this video as it is Brent's directorial debut and was produced by Circle 13.

We like to believe that with this music we are bringing a fresh angle to the the hip hop world. Brent's writing style has brought together a fusion of hard hitting beats as well as get down and groove club tracks. We've written political tracks like "Hip Politics" which expose the on going problems with the government, to personal stories like the song "Let It Out". This combination has turned out to be something we can all groove to while bringing awareness to social & political issues as is heard in our single "On The Run". C13 is all about bringing positive light. We want you to feel inspired!
