Christine Hand is a singer-songwriter from Fort Worth, TX. She has been singing, playing and recording her original music since 1998 and has three CDs to her credit, Flying (1999), Rending the Veil (2002), and More than Make believe (2004). She also composed the music and lyrics for an original Christmas musical performed at Reece Prairie Baptist Church in December 2006 entitled “The Office Christmas Party.”

Christine loves to share her music anywhere she can, from coffeehouses and clubs to churches and community events. Some of the venues at which Christine has performed include Mayfest (Fort Worth); Apostle Credo Coffeehouse (Fort Worth); The Love Lounge at The Door (Dallas); and a musical appearance on The Mark Turnbull show on BBC radio Cleveland (Middlesborough, UK). Her live performances benefit from the musical contributions of her father, Ed Hand on keyboard and percussion, and her husband, Adam Jones on guitar and mandolin. In addition to playing original music, the trio is able to lend its unique sound to a variety of cover songs ranging from the Beatles to praise and worship music.

Christine and her husband Adam live in Dallas, TX. They are avid collectors of books and records. When they are not performing, they can frequently be found perusing the shelves of Half Price Books, listening to Simon and Garfunkel albums, or reading Tolkienian fantasy. Christine holds a BA in Music Business from Dallas Baptist University, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in English. Christine continues to explore life and faith through her music, and as she shares her songs with others, she invites them to join her on that quest.
