Christie Lenée was selected in 2011 as "Best Guitarist" for the 93.7WSTW Hometown Heroes Awards, and nominated for "Best Female Songwriter" in Philadelphia's own Origivation Magazine Readers Choice Awards. She has composed a variety of innovative work- from folk and funk, to pop/rock inspired songs, to choral arrangements and classical orchestrations. Her ability to fuse these styles into one propels an eruption of harmonic fluidity, delivering profound expressions and a vibrant live performance. Whether performing solo or with a full band (Christie Lenée Project), Lenée’s kinetic fingerboard work, alluring voice, and rich lyrics bring a mesmerizing experience.

Her acoustic style is ornamented with open tunings, finger tapping, and percussion on the guitar. More recently, others have been raving about the passionate voice soaring above it all. With a dream to create global harmony through music, Lenée continues to expand upon her ever-evolving repertoire. Her song collection is vast with an assortment of live CDs (2003-2008), two home studio albums (Melody of Mood, Peace Is…), the studio production “Set it Free” (2009), and the more recent "Acoustic Sessions" disc. Now working with a brilliant group of musicians in Philadelphia, Christie just finished a new EP, and is currently in production of the new album "Daylight Comes." In the meantime she is still touring frequently, gracing each audience with an unforgettable experience.
