He has crafted songs and sound recordings in several bands with MTV and National radio credit. In 2007 Hawkes released a much anticipated solo effort “Guitar and Voice” with the single “Falling Into Doubt” featured on MTV shortly after the debut. When asked to describe his music Hawkes noted "My favorite part of creating a song is open expression of something very personal or getting a specific message across.
