ChickenGrease is music by folks for folks. It's sound has been nicknamed "Buffet Grass".

The band is made up of Two Fathers and their three sons. It began in February 2006 when Dale Pyatt and his son Justin Pyatt came to Nashville to record a few songs with Steve Thomas and his two sons Nathan and Aaron Thomas.The band picked up the name "ChickenGrease" after the first song they recorded together "Love, Peace, and ChickenGrease".

Neither family is a stranger to the music business. Steve Thomas has been in the music business for twenty five years working with everyone from The Whites, and the Osborne Brothers to Kenny Chesney and Brooks and Dunn.

Dale Pyatt sings lead vocals and playing some rhymthm guitar. Steve Thomas plays fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and singing harmony vocals. Nathan Thomas is playing lead guitar and singing harmony vocals while his brother Aaron plays the bass. And don't forget Justin Pyatt in the back on the drums.

After over two years they have recorded over fifteen songs and are working on thier second CD and Video.
