Charlie is a gifted musician in that he takes a classic pop/rock sound, infuses it with blues and sprinkles flavors from various other genres to satisfy the musical palate. This style helps make Charlie’s sound unique and unexpected, as he continues to deliver compositional and lyrical surprises. A major theme throughout his music is the battle of good vs. evil that lies within Charlie. His lyrics reflect this internal struggle between what we have defined as right and wrong, allowing him to express the tension that results as a product of this conflict. His melodies reflect the restlessness within him, through extreme guitar riffs and vocals that penetrate deep.
Charlie has recorded one full-length album entitled Woodland Lane, named after the street he grew up on as a child. The album was recorded at Silent Sounds Studios in Hollywood, CA and at Barry Paul Studios in Studio City, CA. He has played throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County area, spreading his energetic sound to an eclectic audience.
Of his music, Charlie says what makes his sound unique is his ability to weave a cinematic effect into his songs, developing plots and characters through his lyrics and edgy arrangements.
