Charge is a modern indie rock band from Brazil with a lot o influences, especially from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. And because of it you can hear songs with elements from the dance rock to the hard rock.
Formed in 2001, the story begins as critic about the contemporary Brazilian rock music scene. And that’s also why the songs are written in English.
Just after a formation change in 2005, started to use the name Charge, giving a new identity to the group and new objectives.
While searching for new sounds and looking for space on the Brazilian Indie scene, the group reached some unexpected respect on the virtual community. And after this all, 2009 starts with more good news as the BH Indie Music Festival winning (giving the right to be part of it) and the release of the single “Hate Me Love Me”.
