The CCS Crew or (Cultivating Creative Sound Crew) started in 1999 Smoking Kinds and writing rymes, recording on cassette tapes with an awia boom box, and doing local Rap battles against each other for fun. The CCS Crew or (Cultivating Creative Sound Crew) started in 1999 Smoking Kinds and writing rymes, recording on cassette tapes with an awia boom box, and doing local Rap battles against each other for fun. Their friend and crew member Joseph Hernandez (Wobbly Pop) was their producer making their beats and helping to get shows for the group. In 2000 the group released their first single “Gold Crested Game”. During the creation of the first Album Stacc Styles and Jersey dropped the CCS “Not 4 Sale” Mix Tape in 2003. In 2004 the work on the first CD was picked up by Seizure Productions in Vancouver B.C. Finally towards the end of 2004 CCS Crew released their first album “Reviving Elements”. After their first release tragedy hit the group when they lost their friend and producer Joseph Hernandez. Joseph Hernandez’s death would be the most detrimental happening the group ever faced. Taking a break from making music CCS Crew decided to work several shows as roadies for a band called “Mower” who had just signed to Suburban Noize records. After the death of Wobbly Man Crookyd took over the spot as Producer and began to make beats for the group. In 2007 the group dropped their second full length album “Lords of Chaos”. Taking their first show in two years as a head line gig CCS sold out the venue and begin their climb back. At the beginning of 2008 CCS Crew met Nathan “MuzikMan” Shoemaker through a friend. Nathan and the CCS Crew began to work at Muzik Man studio's to work on their third full length album. During the next two year's CCS Crew along with Muzik Man performed in over 200 shows across Arizona. Some of these shows were with artists such as, Ice Cube, Nas,Tech N9ne, WC, Paul Wall, KottonMouth Kings, E40, Murs, HED P.E., ILL Bill, Everlast, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, Big B, Dirtball, Authority Zero, Andre Nickatina, Verbal Kent, Steve Stone, Glasses Malone, KingSpade, Spice 1, Devin the Dude, DJ QUIK, Kurrupt, Twista, Potluck, Dgaf, Evidence, Lil Brother, C-rayz walz, Qwel, Akill from J-5, Killa Preist, Slaughter House, Mo Thug, Aceyalone, Abstract Rude, Brown Boy, Zig ZAg, Soul camp, The New f'os/ tha formula. Rocadolla, Willy north pole. plus many others. In August of 2009 the third full length album “Lyrical Bartenders” dropped. At this point CCS Crew (Stacc Styles, Jersey, Crookyd, and Fat Tony) decided to make MuzikMan a member of the Crew and they have all begun work on the fourth full length album.
