CATANIC PANIC (Musical Band) experimental/electronic/visual
Emerging from the RP (Role Play) dominion Alexis Pena Goco adopted the name Catanic as a reference to an insatiable desire to emulate cats which was bred from his fixations earlier in life to wear dark clothing and ravenous locked hairstyles while bewildered by the after shock of the 1960’s/70’s during the 1980’s when his formative times were spent reclusive and absorbed into the alternative styles of art, music and clothing. By the early new millennium, he noticed that these behaviors persisted in his life in many ways and accommodated this by pursuing it, and becoming an avid collector of dark wardrobe and costume accessories – although at this point in his life he has learned and adjusted a presenting self that was moderate and conformed – so this avid collection was something he attuned “behind closed doors.” One day, his former and aged self-image came looming about through his mind, when he conceptualized himself playing a dual role in a band as himself and with “Catanic”. They were later to be called Catanic Panic.
