20 Years old No matter what, music has always been a part of my life, if I’m not performing or listening to music, I’m not happy. I seriously think music was given to us to save us. I think anything I write sounds ridiculous, but I’m still trying. I’ve been in choir since FOREVER. seriously, I was a choir NERD. All-state, solo&ensemble, you name it. I did it. I also have been a swimmer my whole life. If I wasn’t sure I was a human, I wouldn’t be surprised if I was a fish in another life. Or a dolphin, they’re much more interesting creatures. I’ve changed my major three times. I’m still not sure this is what I want to do. I went to Texas Christian University for Voice Performance for a year. You might not know it but I went there for Opera. I want to be an opera singer when I get out of college. My favorite quote “sorry I have rehearsal” fits with that perfectly. If you haven’t noticed, I’m not the typical opera singer. 200lbs, stocky, etc. I harmonized with my mother in the crib, she said I would hum with her while she sang to me. I love singing country music. I think that any music that empowers a woman to be herself and sing her heart out is so incredibly powerful. I recently went into the studio to record Blue by LeAnne Rhymes. It was such an amazing experience. No one really realizes how much time and effort goes into making a CD.
