Hello Everyone!
Hope you had a great July 4th weekend! I’m relaxing now after singing at the weekend services at my church.
Just wanted to give an encouraging word to all of you. As my song “God’s Peace” talks about how all of us go through tough times. Sometimes we might question why? No matter what we must cling to God’s Peace that passes all of our OWN understanding and remember that He is always by our side. No matter what our situation seems to look like, nothing is impossible WITH God. Sometimes we depend on God in tough times AFTER we have tried everything on our own. BUT We must trust him for everything first. That’s hard to do, but we can keep exercising our faith by going to Him first when things are rough. He does look at our heart. Sometimes I have to say, God I really want to trust you with this, but it looks impossible, help me to trust in your perfect timing and you plan in this situation. He will give you that extra help. As the Bible says, His ways are higher than our ways! So remember, the situation might look barren and impossible, but God works best in barren situations! He likes to show off what He can do when we surrender it all to Him. As all father’s do, they want to help their children but we also have to learn on our own sometimes. Like when a baby first learns to walk…they take those first steps holding on to us but eventually they have to let go and try it on their own. They will fall a lot while learning to walk, but eventually we all learn how to walk on our. Same thing with God….he has us depending on him holding us by our hands in parts of life and then he has to let go to see if we can walk on our own. What choice will you take in your next tough situation…trust God first or as a last resort. It is easy to give that advice, but sometimes tough to exercise that faith…ask God for help, he will make a way! Please feel free to message me any prayer requests you may have. Thank you all for your support here on Our Stage.Joshua I:5 “He will not leave us nor forsake us.”
Have a great week!

If you or someone you know is going through a rough time remember this:
God is the source of everything we need In life, he is our conduit of power and passion! If you are seeking the will of God for your life. If you are looking for direction…. Remember the will of God Is the Word of God. In tough times, we must quiet ourselves and get away from what the world tells us how to get rid of a situation or fix a problem, but we need to read what God wants for us . Ask yourself, am I doing what God wants for my life or what I want for my life ? Ouch! Those reality checks are hard! But necessary. We must remember to clear our minds from the confusion of the world so we can hear what God is telling us. Not what we want to hear, but what God wants us to hear. That’s tough sometimes. But you know what, God is NEVER wrong! That’s why He is God! That’s why He saves us!
Often times in the Bible, when the world was tugging on Jesus , He would “often withdraw to lonely places and pray .“Luke 5:16. I challenge you this week to get away from the world tugging on you and find that lonely place and spend time with God who has the answers for you. Can you hear him? Shhh…..listen……can you hear Him? He will quiet you with his love“, Zephaniah 3:17
