Caleb Lovely is an independent singer/songwriter/musician who hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Caleb's music, best described as pop rock, combines the purity inherent in his youthfulness with a level of musical mastery seldom seen. Though only twenty-one years of age, Caleb draws on his experiences in life and love to create songs that resonate with audiences both young and old.
Caleb Lovely's musical career was spawned at the age of twelve, when he taught himself how to play guitar. His high school years were used to hone his skills on guitar as well as drums, bass and piano, while playing in various jazz bands as well as playing worship music. In the spring of 2009, Caleb was enlisted to tour the nation as the guitarist for Rookie of the Year. He has also opened for national artists such as Tyrone Wells, Keaton Simons, and Mark Rose of Spitalfield. In 2010, Caleb has already released two high quality music videos, obtaining a successful Youtube channel, and id touring the country for most of july and august. “Lovely is already a triple threat at just 21. He writes, sings, and plays all the instruments in his songs. His honest lyrics and folksy riffs serve for great easy-listening tunes, which are featured on his self-titled LP released in May 2009.”- Carnegie Mellon student newspaper(the tartan).
Although relocating to Nashville, to dive more into his career, Caleb has continued to make a name for himself in and around Pittsburgh, playing both solo acoustic and full band shows at some of the areas most popular venues, including Club Café, Mr. Smalls Theater, Hard Rock Café, and the Rex Theater.
