Just a music luvin cracka from around the way. I’ve been to a respectable number of shows i guess. Woodstock 79’ 94’ 99’, Tibetan Freedom, All Good 2006, Bonnaroo 06’ 07’, Guiness Fleadh 95?, Langerado 07’, Earth day Washigton 88 89 or 90?, etc..etc…
Can’t get enough of that festival life!
After everything is said and done though i think woodstock 94’ was the hands down best fest i have been to. Second to only the 69’ fest itself for all time best show.
Woodstock 94’ was the first shot at bringing back the fest and everybody i ran into seemed to have the need to experience the peace and love aspect of the 69 show. It made for an interesting weekend where the mud people and acid and friendlyness were all quite well represented.

Dont belive what anyone tells you about bonnaroo or any other festival. The closest any show has come to the ideal woodstock experience was back in 94" PERIOD!!!

Now…. with all we have learned since the troubled times of woodstock 99’, i think the experience and the acceptance of society, is there to make the 40th anniversary something to behold.
There are rumours of a 2009 show but nothing set in stone so far as i can gather.

Bonnaroo and others have made these types of gatherings into a very viable option for those deciding what to do with their vacation or spring break funds. I just can’t personaly see any reason not to hold a 40th anniversary show and reclaim it’s throne as the be it all of music festivals. And, with the precedent set by Bonnaroo (ithink) there is all the incentive needed to pull off a 1/2 million + crowd event for an entire week. This is my “holy grail” of festivals. The seven day, 63 band (thats right only 63) show, with one stage, and over 1,000,000 fans. Hell…..maybe i’ll throw it myself.

OK, this section is supposed to be “ABOUT ME”, and thats about it. I’m not actually a music fanatic as i am an experience freak. I don’t obsess over bands and band members but i do get lost in their music…whoever they are :) It’s rather wierd and i have a rather odd outlook on all things anyway.
