In a lofty 8 bedroom Victorian terraced house in Waterloo Crescent, Nottingham, between the basement and the attic, the idea of Burning Haus was first conceived. In a lofty 8 bedroom Victorian terraced house in Waterloo Crescent, Nottingham, between the basement and the attic, the idea of Burning Haus was first conceived. Out of garbled and impromptu lamplit explorations of rhythm and percussion, a tiny glowing sapling began to take root. This sapling would eventually sprout into a network of like-minded musicians and writers, moulding their own interpretations of unashamedly happy disco-surf pop smile-beats, with a sound akin to your first Calippo ice lolly or being the chance witness of an underwater sunset. A collective now exists, testing their wings and learning to glide, hunt, gather and use what they hear and feel to create sounds that make them feel all fuzzy inside.
