Burning Abigail is a Denver-based Funky Groove-Rock Quintet composed of bass, drums, guitar, keyboards, sax, and rich vocal harmonies.

Fronted and founded by singer/songwriter/guitarist Scotty McWalter, Burning Abigail has created a unique, yet accessible and popular sound. Burning Abigail combines influences such as Jazz, Rock, Americana, R&B, and then applies a vintage heavy-blues sound over the top with lots of sax, B3 organ, and a thumping funk-oriented rhythm section.

Scotty's original material has been described as, "deep and forward thinking with an old school yet fundamentally tasty foundation."

Burning Abigail has been performing their creative arrangements and high-energy stage shows in many of Colorado's music venues since Fall of 2006, continually growing and refining their sound, developing a following and most importantly, entertaining the crowds and patrons by sharing their funky groove-oriented music.
