The Bumbershoot Music Lounge returns with a series of intimate performances from some of the Festival’s brightest stars, all of which will be broadcast live on 90.3 KEXP/KEXP.org during Bumbershoot weekend. The only way to get access to this secret stage is at KEXP.org, or enter to win right here at bumbershoot.org. Winners will receive a pair of day-specific tickets to Bumbershoot, plus passes to every Music Lounge performance that day!

Know an individual or an organization making a difference in Seattle’s communities through arts and culture? Nominate them for a 2009 Mayor’s Arts Award. Deadline for nominations is Wednesday, April 8.

Mayor Greg Nickels will present the awards at a ceremony, Friday, Sept. 4 at Seattle Center in partnership with Bumbershoot: Seattle’s Music & Arts Festival.
