Well, it’s here at last! The long awaited release of my first CD “Winter Takes the Stars.” Right now it’s available at CDBaby.com for $8.33.

CDBaby is also sending it to companies like iTunes and Rhapsody, but they say it takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months for it to be available there… so I recommend the link above.

I’m planning to have physical CDs made, but that will be also take a while.

Well thanks so much for the encouragement everyone! I’ve been working on this CD for about five years, especially this past year. It’s been long, but great! I’ve learned a lot about music, and I will definitely be making more albums.

I’ve uploaded another song! It’s pretty eclectic (surprise!), but one of my favorites. It used to be one of two “ghost story” songs in the CD, but the other one was cut after many long, painful recording sessions when I realized how poorly written it was, so now Winterswept is the only one. Hopefully you enjoy it and let me know what you think about it!

I just wanted to let everyone know how the CD is doing as it has been a few days since I was planning to release. I finished the music a few days ago. However, I have to wait to I release the CD because of publication legals – it’s complicated to explain.

So, the way it’s looking now, it’s going to be about a week before I can release digitally (MP3 download). As for the physical CDs, I’m having them manufactured professionally, and it’s a little more complicated, but it hopefully won’t be longer than 2 weeks after the digital release.

Until then, please enjoy the three full songs and the album preview I have uploaded. (full songs only available on Facebook and Ourstage profiles until release)

Well, thanks for waiting. I’m sorry for the delays :( And thanks for all the support! It really helps as I’m getting a little frustrated with all these legal rules and business procedures. Not my thing, I just like writing music.

In competition at OurStage, “Winter takes the stars” (lead song) is #5, and “Distance” had reached #7, but is now at #78. “Undefineable” is getting creamed. I’m hoping to have some songs in the top 20 towards the end of the month to make the semi-finals. :D

Hey everyone,

I’ve entered three of my songs into competition. I’m really excited to see how they do, and hear from people listening to them.

Undefineable – an aggressive electronic-rock song entered in the Electronic / Electro-pop channel.

Winter takes the stars – carrying the name of the album, this is a symphonic + piano + wailing electric guitar song. It’s entered in the Instrumental channel.

Distance – this is a hard song to choose a channel for. Right now it’s in the Solo Instrumental channel, but I might move it to Ambient.
