In August 2008 Art “Loco” Desaulniers and Luc “Moscow” Bell crossed paths at a Motley Crue concert in their hometown of Winnipeg Manitoba. Former band mates from years ago – they discussed the idea of working together again. They created a plan to form a “straight up, hard, rock & roll group” that rivals the attitude of Motley Crue and the swagger of Guns & Roses. Desaulniers had previously been involved with several heavy hitter metal projects like Loco and Children of Tragedy, and jumped at the opportunity to try something different. Bell, and his bandmate, Garret Laye (lead guitar player, and riff mastermind behind the Winnipeg band, Tall Dark and Hammerd) were working on some new material and decided it was time for a fresh start. Desaulniers also brought to the table his former band mate from Children of Tragedy and Loco, Joe “Slops” Moore to play bass. Together with former Streetheart drummer, George “Duke” Demaduke, the five formed a new super group dubbed “Broken”, and are ready to show the Peg what a real Rock & Roll show is all about.
