I just got back from playing the FOX 29 News First morning show in San Antonio, TX with Dan Greenaway. It was awesome! I had never really done anything like that before, so it was a little weird. First of all, I had to wake up at 4:00 A.M. Wait a minute, I don’t think you get it. FOUR O’CLOCK IN THE FRIKIN’ MORNING!!! I’m a musician…I might stay up until then, but I don’t wake up at that time on a regular basis. You know what I mean? Anyway, I wake up, get ready, and leave Austin (well, actually Round Rock) in plenty of time to get to San Antonio. Long story short: TRAFFIC SUCKED!!! I ended up being about 20 minutes late. That figures, right? So I got there just in time to say hello, meet the crew, and do a very quick sound check. It all happened so fast. Before I knew it, I looked up and saw my big mug on the monitor. Dan and I played “I’m Waiting For You To Come Over”, and then I was on my way back to my computer to tell you guys about it. It really was a whole lot of fun. I had a blast! Everyone there was so nice. I can’t wait to do it again. Next time I promise I’ll be early…well…on time. Me being early to anything is just hilarious.
