Your OurStage Community Manager

Welome to Brian's corner of OurStage, where the beats are both frequent and loud. You will frequently see him listening to really loud music, reviewing content on the site, writing newsletters, developing new projects at OurStage, talking to the Field Representatives, and drinking coffee. He's also occasionally seen bugging the engineering team over feature updates.

Brian also maintains StageDirections, the OurStage corporate blog. If you've ever emailed the Community Team or the Tech Help team, you've likely chatted with him at some point!

Brian's a big fan of the Electronic, Indie, Metal, and Punk channels on OurStage, but he listens to everything else too when other people aren't looking so they don't think he's a softie. He spends a lot of his time helping and talking to the artists in the Hard Rock and Electronic/Techno channels. Some of his biggest musical influences include Led Zeppelin, The White Stripes, Type O Negative, Nine Inch Nails, The Crystal Method, John Digweed, Sasha, and various indie bands that only a few people have heard of.

He's been a big fan of hard rock, hardcore, and related genres for as long as he can remember listening to music, so working with those channels just became a natural growth of his interests. One of his best early concert memories was seeing Sevendust live in a field, and how hard that show had his heart pumping.
