I am a performer/songwriter (originally from Russia) in love with good catchy tunes, meaningful lyric and the idea that a song must be a s o n g, not a "track" and an artist - an Artist, not a "project". Genre is a very relative matter, so I write/compose/perform not only dance music, but also "oldie-like" pop, sometimes rock, Broadway standards, blues..anything (except perhaps rap/hip-hop/r'n'b). I love songs telling stories and having messages, the ones you may sing to, dance to, cry with...

I love songs telling stories and having messages, the ones you may sing to, dance to, cry with... A pretty outdated-old school approach, but I do believe it'll come back. The good doesn't expire - it only becomes classics... I am learning that kind of approach...
To my mind the song comes to life only on stage, in a live performance - it's then and there that something is created. I judge a song and a performer mostly (if not only) when I see it live. All my idols were always better live than in a booth of a studio, giving the song a new meaning each and every time it's done on stage, altering it, feeling it, breathing music and creating something that will live only for that one moment of connection...and then will only stay in the spectators' hearts. That's my idea of it... Cannot do it live=don't perform. That's my tough formula.

My guiding light in Music is belcanto in Classics (Maria Callas in particular), Madonna and Whitney Houston (before 2004)..Bruno Pelletier...Frank Sinatra...Dame Shirley Bassey.. I respect Lady GaGa...and Christina Aguilera...I have a great deal of respect for William Orbit, Mirwais, Oakenfold as producers.
I have performed in Russia and US, but mostly did songwriting for other performers - now I am ready to try it on my own.
I also directed/co-directed shows and theatre performances.
