Brett Staggs began writing songs on a horsefarm in Williamsport, Pa. Citing Tom Petty as an influence, Brett began playing and writing in the Pittsburgh area both as a solo act and with a few bands(The Cool Grand, Brody, The Long Time Darlings) Brett moved to Austin in the winter of 2005 to continue writing songs and work on his soon-to-be released first full-length solo record.
