Bradley Wik and The Charlatans… Bradley Wik(vocals, guitar), Sasha Shybut(bass), Brian Bergstrom(lead guitar) and Nick Kostenborder(drums) met and began playing almost immediately after Bradley moved to Portland from Brooklyn in early 2009. They play classic-styled, straight up Rock N’ Roll music with soul and passion which has been compared to the likes of Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp and more recent bands like the Hold Steady and the Gaslight Anthem. Their live shows are high-energy affairs with loud and growling guitars and pounding drums. They have recently just finished a whirlwind recording session laying down five songs, “The Winners and the Losers EP,” at Foundry Studios, completing the entire session in a mere two days. They are now playing shows in support of the record.
