Bonnie Parka came into the game knowing that her road to success would not be easy; being an interracial female she is faced with what most would consider a double negative. At first glance many would assume that Bonnie Parka was just another gimmicky “white girl” trying her luck on the music scene but a deeper look gives a greater understanding of what she truly has to offer. Born on July 6, 1987 to an Irish father and Cape Verdean (small island off the coast of South Africa) mother tells that she is much more than what meets the eye. Born in Providence , RI & raised in Sarasota , FL; Bonnie has endured numerous life struggles on both sides of the Mason Dixon and has always used art as an outlet to express her pain and happiness. Bonnie is not the average rapper but an artist by nature. Before rap Bonnie used: drawing, poetry, singing, and writing as mediums to release her frustrations with family, financial and personal life struggles. As with most artists Bonnie felt the need to push her limits and broaden her horizons with new mediums. Coming from a musically inclined family hip-hop naturally became the next point of progression for this talented artist. From the infantile stages of her career she has always stood out amongst a crowd and was recruited in to A.G.E. Ent, not only for her unique look and style but also for her: confidence, dedication, and ability to deliver hard bars and witty punch lines much more effectively and creatively than many seasoned hip-hop veterans.
