A quartet from Cincinnati, Ohio, Bluf consists of 3 brothers - Ben, Evan, and Elliot Rubin - and are led by rock-hall-of-famer John Mellencamp's nephew, Ian Mellencamp. Playing music and jamming together for years as best friends/brothers, we have developed a unique musical style which is continually evolving. Musically based around rock, we combine other unique elements to create a style that ranges at times from ambient to experimental to body movin rock. However, we tend to hold true to the songwriter's frame of mind, heard in our track 'Fix', which is featured on our profile. With the incorporation of intense energy, hand drums, trash cans, and more, our live show is one of our strongest attributes. We want to connect with people, allow them to have a good time, and, at the same time, open up their frame of mind.Bluf just recently released its debut album, 'Documents of Evolution', in 2008.
