Blaq Magiq Musiq, LLC was begun in 1999 by Steffan Cooks, a BMI registered and experienced songwriter. Mr. Cooks has crafted works for many artists spanning different genres and styles. Striving for an outlet to begin a new direction for the art form, Mr. Cooks, through Blaq Magiq Musiq continues to seek a “different approach” by offering intelligent writing and creative music production to everyone who shares the same love for the music. We combine many different elements from hip-hop to r&b; from jazz or alternative to pop to create a sound all our own. Along with our many affiliates and believers in the cause, Blaq Magiq Musiq will be a voice for those who want to create lasting impressions and not just recognizable melodies.
