Blackstar Symphony has spent 6 evolving to survive in a constantly shifting landscape. After countless lineup changes, a long hiatus and a lot of mental uncertainty, they have returned with fresh blood and an uncompromising attitude. Stepping away from their Death/Black Metal roots to tread new ground by combining Goth Rock, Southern Blues and a long list of out of the box influences to present a debut album as diverse and new as Death Metal was in the 90's Florida Scene. A Fine Day to Bleed is an ambitious effort that will prove itself to be the band's cornerstone release for years to come. Blending melancholy and self loathing with retrospection and self philosophy the lyrical aspect of the record is pained and sharply witted. Though musically it's a whole other story, Death Metal vocals laid out over a melodic and tumultuous landscape strike instantly. From the blistering "Seduction Scheme" to the piano driven "Scarecrow" each song is as varied and honest as the topics being discussed. Official release date is November 10th of 2009.
