She is known best for her written and published works, as well as delivering strong, powerful, and soulful performances that stimulate the intellect and moves the spirit. Her eclectic style mixes equal parts spoken word, soul, and hip.hop in a recipe that keeps audiences packed to see this phenomenal presence. She has involved herself in the entertainment industry since 1999 working inside some of the most noted record labels, collaborating with and opening for a distinguished roster of artist like the legendary Ruby Dee, KRS- 1, Sonia Sanchez, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, N’dambi, Jill Scott, Professor Griff (Public Enemy), Erykah Badu, Oleta Adams, Tramain Hawkins, and Roger Bonair Agard (1999 National Poetry Slam Champion) just to name a few, with more phenomenal show dates lined up. Features in the Dallas Morning News, Rolling Out Magazine, the Deep Ellum Arts Festival, SBC Black History Celebration, Tampax Total You Tour, the Dallas Black Expo, Ebony Black Family Reunion Tour, 97.9 the BEAT (Dallas Radio One Station/ Hosted by Rickey Smiley), POWER 99 Inner City (Philadelphia Radio One Station/ Hosted by Tiffany Bacon), KNON 89.3 (Dallas), and SOUL 73 KKDA AM (Dallas), and numerous features at the world renowned Black Academy of Arts & Letters (TBAAL- DALLAS), House of Blues (Dallas), State Fair of Texas (Budweiser Super Stage) and more, add to her growing credentials too. She has performed, competed and won numerous poetry slams across the country. To date she has released 4 independent CD works, "my lil' black book" / "tha orator" / “tha Black.WHOLE”/ & "the. VORTEX - all of which showcase her tremendous talent. In an effort to continue giving back to the community she works hand and hand with several Non-Profit & Conscious Minded organizations South Dallas Cultural Center, P.L.C. (Peoples . Lunch . Counter), PROJECT:: US/ PROJECT :: HOME, Our Brothers Keeper, NDUGU Inc. and TeCo to name a few. Author of two published poems Hurting Love - International Library of Poetry/ Natures Echoes 2000 and To Become Unconscious - Def Poetry Jam Anthology/ Bum Rush the Page 2001 stand to further show the seriousness of this artist.
