Not only for the music, but also for breathing new life into the San Francisco music scene. Black Friday consist of two artist with wide vision, Jinxx and L Seven. Jinxx, raised in the Fillmore district by his grandmother, is a burst of energy with endless talent. Father not around and his mother in and out of jail, he turn to the streets at a young age and had to learn how to be a man on his own. Battle rapping on any corner there was a cypher, music became his escape. Jinxx has been featured on albums as a rapper and singer for The Game, Too Short, Yung Buck, Juvenille, San Quinn, Big Rich, Dem Hoostarz, and a host of Bay Area artist. L Seven , also raised in the Fillmore district, was raised with a love for oldies but goodies by his grandmother. Hustling up his first keyboard at the age of 17 he taught himself how to make beats he heard on the radio. Rapping for L Seven, was a way off the streets and out of the legal system. Producing tracks over the years for the likes of Paul Wall, San Quinn,The Jacka, Keak Da Sneak, Big Rich, Dem HoodStarz, and a host of Bay Area artist. These accomplishments made Jinxx and L Seven recognize that they would be a bigger and better force combined, and Black Friday was born. Every open mic, feature, and opportunity hasn't been left unturned, being featured on over 150 independent albums combined. Black Friday independently released their debut album " The Rush" and sold over 7,000 albums with no radio play. Black Friday managed to gain the trust of bay area fans who support everything they do . The Black Friday model is faith, hustle, consistency, and quality. They hopped out the box and its working.
