Bio: BLACK ELWAYS BIO BLACK ELWAY was born in Wichita KS and by the time he turned one year old his family relocated to Denver CO. Black Elways love for rap and hip-hop drove him to start creating lyrics at the age of twelve and he recorded his first song at the age of thirteen. His consistent drive enabled him to write and produce his first project titled Striven Till I Ball at the age of nineteen. The maxi single hit the Midwest hard from Missouri to Colorado. After promoting in the Midwest Black Elway moved to Atlanta GA where he sold thousands of CDs out the trunk of his car. Three years later he returned to Denver where he found fans awaiting his next project. Black Elway returned to the studio and started numerous projects which led to him being featured on the compilation CD Denvers Most Blunted featuring the single titled Midwest Niggas co-starring Lil Ike and label mate Mobsta Guess CD Mob Realas. Upon completion of a few projects Black Elway began working on his first solo project Independent Dope which would be credited to his newly formed label Lucky 7 Records Inc. and was featured in the October/November 2005 issue of Los Angeles Songbuz Music Guide. This album features a platinum line of guest stars including E-40 Suga-T Yukmouth of the Luniz and Mobsta Guess. As Black Elway traveled through Texas Nevada and California for his promotional tour for Independent Dope footage was compiled for his DVD Independent Dope the DVD Documentar featuring Lil Flip Messy Marv Mike Mosley and more. In 1999 Black Elway signed a non-exclusive distribution deal with The Orchard where he has released his three CDs and DVD documentary. The twenty seven year old artist/CEO is driven and wont let anything hinder his creativity. Black Elway is consistently putting hours in at the studio transforming his latest efforts into his next album Investments which should be completed early 2007.
