In an era in which pop, rap, and country are at the top of the charts, we are committed to being part of a rock revival. We are a rock band with a progressive tone. Our lyrics and melodies are reminiscent of groups such as, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, and Guns and Roses In late 2009 Beyond Me started to record it’s first EP with Andy Jackson (Hot rod Circuit, Say Anything, Death in the Park, Terrible Things) at the Jackalope Studio in Montgomery, AL. Andy has been a very positive influence on our group. Beyond Me has headlined the Homegrown Stage at the City Stages festival in Birmingham and at Bayfest in Mobile opening for such groups as The Flamming Lips, Alice in Chains, and Velvet Revolver. Additionally Beyond Me has performed at Birmingham's most popular music venue's including, The Nick, Workplay and 5 Points Music Hall. We have also impressed and entertained audiences in Nashville, Atlanta, Huntsville, Mobile, Jackson and Columbus Mississippi,Memphis Tennessee as well as several smaller cities across the Southeast.
