Vancouver based singer/songwriter Beka Parkes has always made music from her outlook on life. Currently armed with a guitar and several dozen songs, Beka is wowing them on her own a solo artist, hitting the stage fronting local bands, as well as finishing up a full length CD with producer/musician Dave Thompson (High Holy Days, Leslie Carter, Theresa Sokyrka) which will be ready for public scrutiny in the Fall of 2009. Beka recently co-wrote and sang "I Am Brave" for a TV special aired during the Canada Summer Games.
