Beefbone Music

Beefbone earned the name in Detroit.
In the early Indie days Beefbone fronted The Butchers,
garnering top ten spots on college radio playlists and critical praise.

Every weekend throughout ‘87 The Butchers performed
their seminal hit “JUSTICEVILLE” before crowds
of homeless people on the steps of Los Angeles City Hall.
Ice T recorded “Justiceville” and was inspired to form Body Count.
Beefbone painted sets in Hollywood for shows including “THRILLER.”
Green Party candidate Beefbone ran for the
California State Assembly in 2002.
Beefbone teaches prison inmates in the San Francisco Bay area,
alternating with stays in the Mojave Desert.
Two children call Beefbone “Dad”.
The Beefbone Music label superceded NotOwn Records
which has been issuing Indy product since 1984.
Beefbone also performs with the band Militant Dove.
