Artist: BEACH Beach was born to an American mother and a Filipino father in North Hollywood California. After her mother died when she was a child Beach pretty much had to take care of herself. Although she had to do whatever she had to in order to put food in her mouth; music and other performing arts were never far from her mind. No matter where she was and what trouble or state of mind that she was in, she always had a notebook with her to record her thoughts and poetry. Being a true performer she took drama and acting in high school, after that she took an improv class so that she could be a better performer. Citing her influences she names a diverse group of musicians that inspire her groups like: Pearl Jam, Lauren Hill Ghostface Killah, Incubus, and a few others. After a while she took the plunge and started a group with a friend of hers and they started performing at underground clubs and coffee houses all over Los Angeles County. Now that the group that she was in has run its course she is ready to step into the spot light and let the music industry know who she is. The young woman from North Hollywood,CA has been through many trials and tribulations. She knows that others have been through or are going through some of the same things that she has. She hopes that through her music she can let others know that she has been there and they have someone to relate to in Beach.
