Bankie Travolta was born December 14, 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia at only 4 months he moved to the 4th ward area of Cleveland, Ohio. Bankie stood out amongst his peers; maturing at an early age he experienced things most other kids only whispered about. Bankie always had a love for music from about the age of 6. He started writing music at age 11 it was about that time he and his mother moved to the “burbs” where he found himself having a hard time fitting in. As time went on he would write a song daily expressing his feelings on paper, further increasing his lyrical abilities. “By age 14 I felt I was better than the artist I was seeing on t.v.”…Says Bankie. He eventually found a group of friends who he could relate to and formed a group called “The Geek Squad”, unfortunately the group didn’t remain together but they still remain friends. “A lot of different groups have tried to recruit me, but I’m a solo act,”…says Bankie. Always the trendsetter Bankie added the name Travolta (after the Hollywood actor John Travolta) saying he liked the way the actor could play multiple rolls much like Bankie when it comes to his music. He is currently still recording and making hits daily and gaining an ever-growing fan base. When asked, his opinion of what he does he simply says “I’m the f?ckin best, by myself” and in Bankie's opinion being the best isn't about who has the most punchlines but has the right punchlines, it's not just what your wearing but if your wearing the right things the right way..that's what sets you apart.
