BABYLONIA is one of the most interesting band from Italian electronic scene. Born in Milan as Mail Art, after producing some dance hits in the 90s and playing many concerts all over Italy supporting acts like Melotron and Client, Babylonia released their first single Without Asking Me (EMI Capitol / People Music) at the end of 2003. LATER TONIGHT is the long-awaited debut album combining great melodies, catchy hooks and synthetic sounds in 13 songs that appeal not only to electronic pop music fans, but to anybody who likes great pop songs. The album featured the 4 singles Catch Me, Something Epic, That Big Lie and (If U Want) My Love. In the early 2006 Babylonia signed a worldwide deal with the German label INFACTED RECORDINGS for the release of an international version of LATER TONIGHT including 4 new bonus tracks. At the end of 2006 the band played live in Bratislava and around Germany along with Frozen Plasma, Iris, Obscenity Trial and other bands, and in 2007 and 2008 also played various gigs all around Italy and in Prague, at the Electro Prague Festival. In March 2009 the band opened the first Italian IAMX concert and is playing various gigs in Paris in July and November. The band is currently working on the second album.
