Unfortunately, AVoD is no more. Thanks to anyone who liked or supported us, and thanks for all the votes. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, only to be shot down by guns loaded with trivial ammo, this bird shall never fly again. AVoD can be described as articulate diverse jam style music, sprinkled with punk and anarchy, with a hint of the sick and a lot of the perverse, and lots of the old phrase "SEX DRUGS AND ROCK AND ROLL."deadengone: Synthesizer, Guitars, Bass, Vocals, Drums, Lyrics, ComposingA Wistful Touch: Female Vocals and melodies, Lyrics, ComposingDr. Herbshroom: Guitars, Bass, Drums, Vocalizations, Lyrics, Composing332: Male Vocalizations, Lyrics, Bass, Audio Manipulations, Keys, Guitars, Drums, Sampling, Composing AVoD Formed as a jam band in the summer of 2005, inculding members Toby Meservey(drums), Ben McCurdie(bass), deadengone(guitar), and 332(vocals). In the Fall of 2005 A Wistful Touch expanded AVoDs line up to include female vocals. After losing the jamspace and spliting up, the band continued on as the line up A Wistful Touch, deadengone and, 332. Serious time was spent in the wake of 2006 attempting to recruit members and complete new material(songs like "Wax Paper" and the depressing "Suicide Billet-Doux". In the spring of 2007 AVoD's line up was joind by Dr. Herbshroom (guitars), and a whirlwind of new determination grew as the new line up began furiously writing songs("Sick Chick", "Infatuation", and several untitled works). A chance to move out west to showcase the new material arose as AVoD Packed up and moved out to Cincinnati, Ohio. The move turned out to be a disaster as members left the band due to personal reasons, and went back to Maine. Durring this time a brief incarnation of the band LUCA was formed, and started work on a song which later became "Is all this a possibility for a ending?" The remaining members regrouped just south of Cincy in Florence, Ky. and began writing the most prophetic material yet, completing songs like "Is all this a possibility for an ending?", and writing new songs such as "Punky Brewster", "Use Me Bitches", and "pUpPET". The remaining members moved back to Maine in the spring of 2008 and have reunited with old member Dr. Herbshroom in an attempt to keep the momentum alive in both writing new material, and showcasing the completed.
