Avishay Mizrav was born on january first, 1981.
He started playing the guitar in the age of 8,
he started taking it seriuosly when he was 18, now he is 28 and he is at his peak!
At the age of 18 he started playing in his first band, a young metal band called "Disharmony" (aka metal militia), "it was great fun
and i have alot of good memories from that time", but unfortunaly it didn't work out and the band members seperated after two years of working together.
About a year after avishay met a young promising singer named dudi sarusi, they started working together on dudi's music and formed a new band called "colitis" (Classical Rock with touches of Metal, Progressive and Grunge) since that day avishay has been devoting most of his time and effort in this band, the band went through alot of musicians replacements throughout the years, especially in the drum and bass section.
By the year 2002 they had finally formed a group that they thought at the time would be final and so they started recording their first album "bin sidkai hakir" in "Mute Studios" runned by Liron Boberman who was a friend of the band and offered to record them for free as his first big project and theirs too.
The recording, editing and premixing of this album were done by Liron Boberman and Avishay Mizrav.
Final mixing proccess was done in "Tzolelet Studios" by Guy Webb and Mastering was done by Tali Katz from "Master One Studios".
The album is now complete and awaits distribution, hopefully early 2009.
In 2006 the band went through another change in lineup which still holds till today, band memebers are:
Dudi Sarusi - Lead Singer, Acoustic and Electric Guitars.
Udi Fogelzand - Vocals and Keyboards.
Avishay Mizrav - Guitars.
Eyal Sharf - Bass
Itay Waiss - Drums.
Besides colitis Avishay is playing in a cover band named "Captain Ramzi",
They play rock, blues, funk, soul, they cover artists like: Deep Purple, The Beatles, Joe Cocker, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Police, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Pink Floyd and many many others...
They have a couple of shows a week in local pubs.
From late 2006 to early 2008 Avishay was playing in a wedding band called "manhatten", "All in all it was a fun and good experience that ended bad".
And on weekends you can find Avishay jamming as an extra talent in the "Theatrobar" which is a bar/resturant/club with singing waitresses.
In the past few years Avishay was involved in a few other project:
Oshik nizry, Dudi aaron, Shay levy and others, but it didn't work out.

"I'M NOT WORTHY!!!"
Love your stuff man. You weave a tapestry of the finest silk wielding morbid decay. I love the imagery I contract eyes closed with the headphones on. To play so vibrant and brilliant is but a byproduct… Ahhh but to compose is divine.
Thanks for the ride.
