Writing songs since their middle-school days, these two Mexican-“American” cousins used music as a safe haven from the cruel realities which surrounded them. Influenced by the likes of Tupac Shakur, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Na...S, and much of the 90’s Hip-hop culture; Avid & Striphe have set their collective focus on mixing the old-school standards with the new-school sound. Knowing it will set them apart; the mission has been to put themselves and the outlook of their city into the Hip-Hop limelight.
