About Attack Flamingo

Attack Flamingo from Huntington WV is an electronic rock band with a hint of progressive rock and new wave. The band consists of Sean Knisely (guitar,vox) , Joseph Spurgeon (synth), Marty Brown(guitar), Phil Smith (bass), and Sam Hodge(drums). Drawing from influences ranging from Muse, Radiohead, Bealtes, to Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, and Smashing Pumpkins, Attack Flamingo serves up a blend of rock and dance. Their debut album, “No Star Could Be As Large” is an epic concept album about traveling into space.

You want more. There has to be more. There is so much out there…

You look, you search, you grasp, only finding emptiness…
You find something deeper, something satisfying…

Then it too becomes empty. You dig deeper, fly farther…
Are you looking in all the wrong places?
What if the answer came and found you where you are?
Would you follow it?

This is the difference between desperation and adventure,

Greetings Earthlings If you haven’t noticed by now, we reside in Huntington, WV. It is a beautiful place nestled on the Ohio River. It is home to the country’s largest inland port and Marshall University which recently had the movie, “We Are Marshall”, depict its journey through tragedy into victory. Huntington is also home to a wide variety of talented musicians and artists. Attack Flamingo is very proud to call Huntington home. We are excited about the growing music scene. How’s everything going? I'm stopping by to let you know that I just entered the T-Pain Step in the Ring competition. I put my heart and soul into the track "Everybody Else feat. T-Pain" check it out! It's already being called the new Billie Jean, haha! This track was incredible to write, flow, and sing on. Oh wow! This is great stuff. Thanks for the comment and bringing you to our attention. Definitely something we're into. I'd add The Faint as a good comparison too. We actually started in Richmond, so if we come back that way, we'll definitely give you a call.
