Singer, Songwriter, Dancer, Actress and rising star Ashmin Skyy is a dynamic young woman primed for excellence on today’s music scene. At only 14 years of age, Ashmin is determined to continue learning, living, growing and experiencing life to the fullest. Through her music and her art, she wants to connect with young women all over the world and spread a positive message that will uplift the lives of everyone that crosses her path. Coming from a humble upbringing where music is the center of all things good, Ashmin’s family relocated to Los Angeles to support her dream of a successful music career. She discovered her passion for music at the age of six when she began to explore and dabble in the piano. From there, that love and passion grew by leaps and bounds, and she was influenced by several award-winning major artists including Leona Lewis, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, and Mariah Carey, among many others. One of the most amazing things about Ashmin is that at such a young age, she already realizes that she doesn’t have all the answers. And that is reflected in her writing style, with the very first song she ever wrote, entitled “I’ll be Okay”. This song reminds all of us, from the youngest child to the most mature adult, that no matter what’s going on in our lives, at the end of the day, we’ll be okay. Now Ashmin is on the verge of breaking through and realizing her potential to become a true star. She’s already been an opening act for well-known recording artist Jasper Sawyer and has filmed a television pilot entitled “Princess J & Kay”, on top of being part of several Disney promos and having substantial parts in a number of Disney movies.
