It all started with a mere thought of starting an all female punk influenced rock band. A year into searching for female musicians, singer/ songwriter Araena has joined musical forces with rock/ hip hop producer and drummer The Fluu (Marc Walsh). Almost instantly “Project Static” was born.

Project Static has succeeded in creating a new, twisted, and futuristic rock sound. This new form of rock is danceable, and with such cleverness, littered with 80’s synth effects and raunchy guitar riffs. Their songs are wickedly dressed with dark, poetic, lyrical melodies delivered with a punk style edge.

18 months in the making, Project Static’s up and coming debut EP, “Spill My Guts” is now finally ready to launch. “ Finding rock musicians to really be a part of this amazing process while completing an album can definitely test one’s hope and their sanity!” says Araena about their venture, “ However; it goes with the territory. We know you are out there somewhere. We are still looking. “
