Anca is the young and talented 21 year old female artist. Born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, she has the swagger of a southern female rapper, with up north dreams. Anca started rapping at a young age (8), one-half of The Baddest Jits. As a preteen, gaining the support of your peers is challenging, but Anca had more than that. Her peers, family, and local groups have been supportive from the beginning. She went on to a performing arts high school, where she majored in Visual Arts. Anca always had a strong passion for music. “I hear music as a composer… not a rapper” states Anca. Having influences from, Pharrell Williams, Jay-Z, & Kanye West, she developed her own style. A style that had all the “youngsters” from around her way wearing Chuck Taylors, bandanas, rope chains, graphic tees, and cardigan sweaters. “I feel like I brought Chucks to the south (laughs)” Anca jokes. Her first mixtape, Duval’s Greatest, hit the halls of her school, and the streets of Jacksonville. Many had heard of her, but many still didn’t realize what a true phenomenon this young lady is. Performing at school events, birthday parties, and benefit concerts around the city, everybody would sing ”Keep the Camera on Me Charlie” and the r&b styled “More Than Friends”, two hot singles from her first mixtape, both with catchy hooks that‘ll have you singing them for days. In 2007, Anca teamed up with a fellow rapper, Brisky to create Young Hit Makerz Entertainment, where the two artist showcase their extra-ordinary talent to the world through beat-making, youtube videos, and performing at shows upon request all around the country. With the single “Beautiful Loser” being talked about amongst dj’s, artists, and fans along the east coast, everyone was anticipating Anca’s next move. In April 2009 Young Hit Makerz Ent. released Anca’s third mixtape “Da TakeOva” hosted by DJ Diesel of No Complex Ent. Then, fall 09 mixtape number four, “It’s A Girl” hit the internet HARD, sparking the attention Anca needed. Starting 2010 off with her first OFFICIAL SINGLE “Kiss My @$$”, a slick and witty “female enforced” club/radio banger, establishing her own publishing company, Anca is taking the music business on head-first. With a major EP release on schedule for summer 2011, the world should begin to prepare for ANCA. This young lady is making big moves independently and catching major attention. Now in heavy demand throughout the United States, Anca is sure to be a “Top Chart Artist”
